What You Need to Know about the BetMGM's Sportsbook App Revamp

The BetMGM app has undergone a complete makeover with the goal of streamlining the user experience from top to bottom, partly in response to user input and drawing inspiration from the best digital-first businesses from outside the betting industry.

Kamal Grey, BetMGM’s VP of product, has outlined some of the key changes that BetMGM focused on when redesigning its app to improve the user experience.

According to Grey, the company wants to make investments in the product's design and aesthetics because those aspects are what customers will notice the most. In order to position the company for future iterative improvements, the company needed to revamp its design system and make sure the app looked and felt as cutting-edge as those of its rivals.

The app underwent a redesign as a result of this strategy, but the BetMGM aesthetic was preserved. It began with rather small changes. Grey and the product team worked to maintain the color concept throughout the app. The process was then simplified throughout the app so that everything a user may do on the app, browse odds and lines, place a wager, switch to casino games, make a payment, etc. feels seamless and easy.

Most Notable Changes in BetMGM’s Sportsbook App

BetMGM is one of the leading companies in the market. Their brick-and-mortar locations and services are excellent. But if you prefer to play via a mobile app at a New Jersey online casino, these are the changes and improvements that you should expect from BetMGM’s revamped apps.

Intuitive Design

Grey showed the new NFL categories at the top of the screen in the sportsbook app. These now include props, parlays, and features. The page's body lists the games in chronological order along with more traditional NFL wagers like moneyline, spreads, and totals. Everything is really simple to understand. When it comes to parlays, a user can create pre-set parlays with just one click, and the props and futures pages each list some of the more popular bets inside their respective categories.

One Game Parlays

The One Game Parlay tool from BetMGM has undergone a significant makeover. Without creating an account, users can browse all of the features that the app has to offer, including one game parlays. The new tool from BetMGM simplifies the parlay-building procedure. Numerous adjustments were made as a result of constant constructive feedback from the community.

Consistency and Small Details

Grey showed coherence by moving from sports gambling to playing casino games. He said that the header area's navigation remains constant throughout the entire app. The company's complete set of products is designed with the same philosophy in mind. You don't feel disconnected when you switch from gambling to sports. The same applies when you switch from the home page to the promotions. The color palette and typeface all remain consistent. Small details, such as button color and style, are important. And this is why the company has worked tirelessly to make all of the changes intuitive and make the experience as pleasant as possible.
