* SafeLink uses the network of Tracfone operating as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). SafeLink Wireless provides mobile phone service to those customers who qualify for the LifeLine subsidy, a government-supported telephone program. Plans are Free or at a very low cost. They offer a very basic phone and service utilizing features similar to TracFone. Plans are for Voice and Text only and you can buy additional minutes. Safelink is only offered in certain states of the US.
